Responsibilities and Duties
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Media Analyst at Designboxed, you will be responsible for analyzing print, digital and electronic media daily to ensure no relevant coverage is missed. He/she must be able to implement a thorough research, including a study of the past and current media trends in order to analyses their impact and prepare crisp and precise reports.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To analyses daily media - print, digital and electronic - for political and social news, generating insights from reader and political perspectives
- To study past and current media trends and analyze their impact
- To generate reports after analysis, based on in-depth research of data and facts
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :
- Bachelor's degree in media design, digital media, or a similar field
- Two or more years' experience in a comparable position
OTHER PREREQUISITES
- Complete know-how of handling Twitter.
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English and Kannada with attention to grammar and sentence structure.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Ability to work under pressure and flexible with work hours
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Proven content writing experience
- Ability to write for the web, content management and internet research
- Skill appreciation certifications will provide an added advantage
Requirements and skills :
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Strategist or Social Media Manager
- An ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment, solving complex problems on an everyday basis, and having the tenacity to survive tight deadlines.
- Hands-on experience using social media for brand awareness
- Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
- An ability to identify the target audience preferences and build content to meet them
- Familiarity with web design and publishing
- Excellent multitasking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
- Focused and goal-oriented
