Responsibilities
Production Associates do a variety of tasks in our food manufacturing facility, including: operate food processing machinery, fold boxes, remove finished product from pans, and more
Fast-paced, exciting, with lots of hustle working in our baking, packaging, and dish departments
Production Associate is a first-shift position and is generally a 10-hour shift (the end time varies each day depending on production needs)
Successful candidates for the position will have the ability to work Monday through Saturday, with rotating days off each week (between 4 to 6 shifts each week)
Weekend work and overtime is required as-needed, especially during peak season (October-December) and other high-volume periods
Number of days worked in a week fluctuates throughout the year
The Production Associate position requires an employee to perform essential functions of the job, including but not limited to the following duties:
Fast-paced assembly line work including: put pans and trays on the assembly line, scale and portion ingredients, remove product from pans, assemble boxes, pack product into boxes, stack cases on pallets, operate slicing and other food processing equipment, move trays of product from the assembly line to baking racks, and more
Operate the production and packaging equipment in a safe and timely manner
Wash dishes and equipment
Move racks of finished product throughout the facility
Follow all food safety guidelines and hygiene practices
Follow all personnel safety procedures
Other duties as assigned
Demonstrate the ability to align with Tennessee Cheesecake's core values in daily performance and choices at work
Ability to work in a standing position for 8-10 hours
Must be physically present at assigned work station for the majority of the shift (8-10 hours), with the exception of scheduled breaks
