Job Description
• Provide database administration support for all database environments (dev, staging, integration, production) and participate in on-call rotation as defined by management
• User access management
• Review daily database jobs and database alerts
• Database backups and environment refreshes
• Proactive database monitoring
• Work with developers to optimize, improve and tune new or existing queries by rewriting queries or modifying indexes
• Participate in the planning, installation, configuration, upgrades and maintenance of database instances
• Troubleshoot/Resolve database performance issues, database capacity issues and database replication issues
• Utilize the Microsoft Azure cloud platform to leverage consumption of Azure data and analytics services, including Storage Containers and Azure SQL DB and Managed SQL
