Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Design Head to lead our interior design team. The role involves overseeing the entire design function, from concept to execution, ensuring innovation, functionality, and aesthetics in line with client requirements and company standards. The candidate should have strong leadership, client-facing, and technical skills, with proven experience in managing large-scale interior projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the entire design team including architects, interior designers, 3D visualizers, and draftsmen.
• Collaborate with clients, developers, and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into innovative design solutions.
• Oversee concept development, space planning, material selection, and design detailing.
• Ensure designs are aligned with project budgets, timelines, and client expectations.
• Review and approve design presentations, drawings, and BOQs before submission.
• Stay updated on latest interior trends, materials, and technologies to implement fresh ideas.
• Coordinate with the project execution team to ensure design intent is maintained during site execution.
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and performance evaluation for the design team.
• Drive design excellence, consistency, and adherence to brand identity in all projects.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery.
Key Skills & Competencies:
• Strong portfolio in commercial, residential, retail, or hospitality interiors.
• Expertise in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, 3D Max, V-Ray, and MS Office.
• Excellent knowledge of materials, finishes, and industry standards.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and client-handling skills.
• Ability to balance creativity with functionality and cost-effectiveness.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Educational Qualification:
• B.Arch / Diploma / Degree in Interior Design or related field.
