Role Details:
Designation: AGM/DGM/GM-CIVIL
Location: Jamshedpur,Jharkhand
Responsibilities:
1. Design and analyse steel structures, including industrial buildings, storage
tanks, conveyor systems, and platforms, to meet safety and performance
standards.
2. Ensure compliance with local building codes, industry standards, and environmental
regulations.
3. Design and evaluate foundations for heavy machinery, equipment, and
structures to ensure stability and durability.
4. Manage civil engineering projects within the steel facility, including planning,
scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project completion.
6. Inspect and assess the condition of existing structures and infrastructure,
identifying areas requiring maintenance, repair, or replacement.
7. Develop maintenance plans and oversee repair and rehabilitation projects.
8. Promote and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working
environment for employees and contractors.
+. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
10. Implement environmentally friendly practices and sustainable
construction methods to minimize the environmental impact of civil
engineering projects.
11. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permit requirements.
12. Perform quality control checks on construction materials, workmanship, and
completed structures to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
13. Maintain detailed records, including project documentation, drawings, reports, and
as-built drawings.
14. Provide regular progress reports to management and stakeholders.
15. Monitor project budgets and control costs to ensure projects are completed within
budgetary constraints.
Requirements:
• Person should be graduate ,B.E/B.Tech-Civil would be preferable
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of steel manufacturing processes and related infrastructure.
