Job Overview:
The Clinical Dietician plays a crucial role in promoting patient well-being by offering personalized nutritional counselling and guiding them in making healthier dietary choices. This position involves visiting various doctor's clinics during morning and evening OPD hours to counsel patients, enrol them in the nutritional support program, and provide evidence-based nutritional recommendations as required. Additionally, the Clinical Dietician monitors stock availability at nearby retailers, gathers customer and competitor insights, and collaborates with the client team to ensure effective program implementation and patient care. The ultimate aim is to empower patients with essential nutritional knowledge, facilitate access to suitable nutritional products, and ensure their overall well-being through evidence-based recommendations and continuous support.
Responsibilities:
· Provide personalized and evidence-based nutritional counselling to patients during morning and evening OPD hours at doctor's clinics.
· Create customized diet charts based on individual patient needs and medical conditions to promote better health outcomes.
· Offer recommendations on suitable nutritional products as needed to meet patients' dietary requirements.
· Register patients into the nutritional support program and provide ongoing guidance and assistance.
· Maintain regular follow-up with patients to ensure adherence to dietary plans and provide continuous support.
· Collaborate with multiple doctors and adhere to the schedule provided by the reporting manager.
· Comply strictly with company and program guidelines to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
· Collaborate with the client team to effectively coordinate program activities.
· Adhere to ethical practices and maintain a professional conduct at all times.
· Build rapport with patients by addressing their queries and concerns with compassion and expertise.
· Visit nearby retailers to assess stock movement, conduct retail surveys, and capture sales data.
· Demonstrate commercial understanding and coordination skills with the client team and nearby retailers effectively.
· Provide timely feedback to the Reporting Manager and maintain accurate reporting data.
· Collaborate effectively with doctors to gain positive support and foster strong professional relationships.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics or Nutrition.
· 1 to 2 years of experience in clinical dietetics or nutritional counselling, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
· Proven expertise in offering personalized nutritional counselling to patients with diverse health conditions.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients and healthcare professionals.
· Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet scheduled OPD visits.
· Flexibility to adapt to varying OPD schedules and travel to different clinic locations.
· Proficient in documenting and maintaining accurate records.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong desire to help patients with nutritional needs.
· Capability to communicate fluently in the local language.
· Ability to work collaboratively with doctors, healthcare teams, and the client team.
· Aptitude for sales with business understanding.
· Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to different locations as needed.
· Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
· Eagerness to learn, maintain a positive attitude, and exhibit a pleasing personality.
Working Conditions:
The Clinical Dietician will work primarily in doctor's clinics during morning and evening OPD hours. The position may involve travel to various clinic locations within the assigned region.
