Optimization Specialist
Job Description - Your main goal is to improve the online sales conversion rates through end-to-end management on digital platforms like FB, Insta, Google, Youtube, Snap Chat, Tiktok, etc. for the conversion optimization process. This role will be pivotal in how we understand our customer conversion journey, build our test-and-learn roadmap and use web analytics to optimize digital marketing campaigns.
Job Responsibilities:
• Create conversion optimization strategies and campaigns using both qualitative (page evaluations, UX design principles, site reviews) and quantitative (traffic source analysis, web analytics tools) sources
• Conduct internal planning meetings and lead the development of A/B & multivariate testing road maps that will lift conversion rates
• Establish, maintain, and define the optimization roadmap that will increase conversion, customer engagement, and other KPIs.
• Identify optimization opportunities, and analyze and interpret site usage data and trends through rich and in-depth data analysis, consumer research (quantitative and qualitative), and usability studies.
• Create high-quality, comprehensive deliverables such as project strategy decks, creative briefs, and weekly/monthly reports
• Troubleshoot and spot existing issues with optimization test set-ups and present results internally or externally through the production of high-quality documentation
• Train team members on Conversion Optimization
Required skills/experience:
• 4+ years' experience working specifically in CRO and Analytics of an e-commerce or Direct to consumer company.
• Advanced understanding of Web analytics such as Meta, Tableau, Google Analytics, Adobe Omniture
• Deep understanding of conversion/persuasion best practices
• Good understanding of UX/UI design principles
• Copywriting skills, particularly the ability to write compelling value propositions
• Internalized knowledge of online marketing concepts & the role that usability and user experience play in achieving online business goals
• Hands-on experience with any conversion optimization testing tools such as LiveBall, Optimizely, SiteSpect, Test & Target, Optimizely, Unbounce
• Ability to manage multiple projects with rapidly changing variables and eager to take end-to-end ownership with little supervision
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Proactive and self-motivated to seek answers, generate ideas, and develop new skills
