The opportunity
As Kami's Digital Content Creator, you'll be our go-to creative all-rounder, crafting engaging content across our digital channels and helping manage our vibrant social media presence. This role will see you create everything from snappy social posts and basic design assets to short videos and approachable copy that helps Kami connect with teachers worldwide. You'll work alongside our marketing team to keep our digital and social channels buzzing with engaging content while maintaining the friendly, curious voice that makes Kami special.

What you’ll do
Content Creation: Develop engaging content across our digital channels including social media, YouTube, email, and in-app messaging. Create a steady stream of social posts, marketing copy, design assets, and short videos that bring Kami's story to life.
Community Building: Engage with our educational community through comments, messages, and user-generated content opportunities. Help spot and share inspiring stories from our teacher community.
Video Content: Create and edit engaging short-form videos including Instagram Reels, quick tutorials, and testimonials. Stay on top of emerging social video trends and adapt them to resonate with our educational community.
Visual Design: Design static content for marketing and social channels that drives engagement while aligning with our brand guidelines.
Cross-team Collaboration: Work closely with content marketing managers, the wider marketing team, and our sales team to plan and develop content that aligns with our shared goals and initiatives.
Social Media Management: Collaborating with our content marketing managers to manage the day-to-day running of our social channels, including community engagement, post scheduling, and monitoring.
Copywriting: Write clear, engaging copy for our always-on content needs including social media posts, community responses, blog posts, and everyday marketing materials. Maintain Kami's brand voice across all platforms while adapting tone for different channels and audiences.
About you
2-3 years experience in a content creation, social media, or relevant role
Strong creative skills across multiple formats - you can write engaging copy, create basic designs, and edit social videos
Social media maven with experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
Solid understanding of social community management and what makes content engage different audiences
Basic graphic design skills and experience with tools like Canva, Adobe or Figma
Video creation and editing abilities, particularly for short-form social content
Copywriting skills for social, blogs, and everyday marketing content
A natural collaborator who works well with different teams and departments
Curious and eager to learn - social media's always changing and so are we!
A self-starter with excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and hit deadlines
Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Globally minded. We work with all kinds of educators from all over the world
Agile, flexible and willing to roll up your sleeves
Exceptional attention to detail. Meticulous with grammar, content accuracy, and brand consistency
