Job Description

Digital Content Creator (Remote) — Challenge, Inspire, and Grow with us at Miss Amara!

About Us

We’re looking for a highly skilled Digital Content Creator to help us transform the way rugs are sold online! This is a full-time, remote role based in Australia.

At Miss Amara, we’re reimagining the rug-buying experience through bold innovation, industry-first tech, and a customer-obsessed mindset. Since launching in 2014, we’ve grown fast—earning national recognition including AFR Fast 100 (2026), Best Retail Marketing and Best Medium Online Retailer at the National Retail Awards (2026), and Best Online Retail Marketing at the Australia Post ORIA Awards (2026). With free returns, free styling advice, and cutting-edge virtual tools, we’re changing the game—and loving every minute of it.

About the Role

Are you that person who’s always one trend ahead on TikTok, obsessed with Instagram, filming life as content, and has a camera roll full of brilliant ideas? We’re on the hunt for a creative storyteller who lives and breathes social media — someone who’s ready to press record on a wildly exciting journey with Miss Amara.

This role isn’t just about being online — it’s about showing up online. You’ll be our on-camera creative, capturing scroll-stopping content and strategically leading the charge across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Facebook, and email marketing.

You’ll also be behind the scenes, leading the management of the day-to-day operational needs of the content team and supporting the content manager and inter-departmental needs of the business.

The role is perfect for someone obsessed with digital content, and interiors. We want someone who wears their passion on their sleeve. You must also be organised, collaborative, and analytics-focused.

What You’ll Be Doing

Leading the management of the day-to-day operational needs of the content team, including planning and preparing the content calendar, executing briefs, creating copy, editing imagery and working to the inter-departmental content needs across the business
Creating and managing impactful digital strategy and campaign projects, from idea to execution, with a holistic approach across all channels, and content types, aligning with overall business strategy goals.
Identifying trends, and coming up with new creative ideas to create and push innovative digital content across all channels, creating awareness and interest within our audiences, driving traffic to engage with digital content, and increasing conversions.
Monitoring, analysing and reporting on the performance of digital channels and activities, feeding back to stakeholders and using the data to inform future activities.
Supporting the content manager and leading the charge within the team, owning approvals, participating in inter-departmental progress meetings and providing content solutions across all areas to support business goals.
Filming face-to-camera content and creating both static and dynamic content
Staying abreast of new and emerging digital platforms, providing insights and recommendations as to how Miss Amara brands can leverage these platforms in an authentic way to speak to new and existing customers
Who You Are

You have 3-5 years of experience as a digital content creator who’s worked within a dynamic, fast paced team, and is ready to own your space.
You’re a problem solver, effective communicator, and are comfortable leading your own projects and collaborating across teams.
You have strong creative skills in ideation, copywriting, and coordinating with internal and external teams.
You live and breathe social media (especially TikTok/Instagram) — trends, formats, algorithms, and what makes people double-tap.
You’re confident on camera and love creating content with you in it, and you can shoot and edit high-impact content.
You’re proactive, have excellent organizational skills & time management, and attention to detail.
You’re excited to grow with a creative brand that’s anything but boring.

Let’s make something amazing together. If this sounds like you, hit that apply button — we can’t wait to see you on our feed!
