As we grow, we seek a Digital Innovation Lead to drive the adoption of new tools and automation solutions to streamline operations and enhance performance.
Role Overview
The Digital Innovation Lead will be responsible for identifying, building, and implementing technological solutions that optimize workflows, improve efficiency, and expand our digital capabilities. Working closely with the Director, this role will focus on automation, AI, and process improvements to enhance service delivery. Additionally, they will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.

Key Responsibilities Identify & Evaluate Emerging Technologies: Research and assess new digital tools, AI applications, and automation solutions that can enhance agency efficiency and client results. Develop & Implement Automation Workflows: Create and optimize automated processes to reduce manual workload and improve team productivity. Build & Integrate New Capabilities: Explore and deploy innovations that enhance our service offerings (e.g., AI-driven content creation, predictive analytics, marketing automation). Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with the Director and various departments (Paid Media, Content, Design, and Development) to align innovations with business needs. Support Adoption & Training: Develop documentation and training materials to facilitate seamless adoption of new solutions within the team. Measure & Report Impact: Track efficiency improvements, cost reductions, and performance enhancements resulting from implemented innovations.
What Success Looks Like (KPIs) Efficiency Gains: Reduction in manual workload through automation. Successful Implementations: Number of tools/workflows effectively deployed. Adoption Rate: Percentage of the team utilizing new solutions effectively. Cost Savings: Reduction in software/tool expenses or labor hours saved. Revenue Impact: Contribution to new service offerings or client value through innovative solutions.
Ideal Candidate Profile Strategic & Methodical Thinker: Able to assess challenges and implement structured, high-impact solutions. Technical Proficiency: Experience with marketing automation, AI tools, APIs, and workflow automation platforms (e.g., Zapier, Make, GPT-based tools, CRM automation). Hands-On Builder: Comfortable experimenting, testing, and deploying new tools, not just conceptualizing ideas. Data-Driven & Analytical: Ability to track performance metrics and optimize solutions based on measurable impact. Collaborative & Communicative: Able to engage with internal teams and external stakeholders to align innovations with business goals. Fast Action Taker & Outcome-Oriented: Moves quickly to build, test, and refine solutions. Comfortable breaking things and learning fast, but also methodical in ensuring sustainable improvements.: Takes initiative in researching, testing, and implementing new ideas without waiting for direction.
Preferred Qualifications Experience in digital marketing, martech, automation, or AI-driven solutions. Hands-on experience with workflow automation tools, CRM systems, and AI-powered marketing tools. Knowledge of APIs, data flows, and integrations (coding experience is a plus but not required). Proven track record of implementing process improvements and automation solutions.
