About the Role
We are seeking a creative and collaborative Digital Marketing Coordinator to support our Head of Marketing and work closely with a tight-knit national and international sales and marketing team.
Based at Yumbah’s Head Office in Kent Town, Adelaide, the Digital Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in bringing brand strategy to life, driving awareness, engagement, and conversion through digital channels.
The role supports the execution of digital marketing initiatives across brand, product and corporate channels and is responsible for delivering engaging digital content, managing campaigns, and supporting brand growth across consumer and trade audiences.
This is a part-time position (3 days per week) with the potential to transition into a full-time role in the future.
Key Responsibilities
Promote and sell Yumbah’s premium range of abalone, oysters, mussels and kingfish with a key focus on large food service accounts, restaurant groups and wholesalers in Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
Work closely with the broader Sales and Marketing team to understand the sales strategy and drive growth through local distributors and direct-to-market channels.
Identify and convert new customer opportunities, increasing distribution and product range across foodservice, retail and sushi channels.
Represent the Yumbah brand and coordinate the Retail Sampling Program, including product presentations, training, demonstrations and supervising Product Demonstrators.
Execute sales and marketing plans, providing market insights, competitor feedback, and contributing to demand planning and forecasting.
Support key customer relationships and assist in account plans as required by the BDM.
Provide accurate reporting on sales activity, market trends, and new business opportunities.
Adhere to WH&S policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation and Social Media
Develop, schedule and publish content across social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube)
Write engaging, on-brand copy that will engage audiences
Coordinate visual assets including imagery and video (in collaboration with internal teams or external agencies)
Manage social media calendars and ensure consistent posting cadence
Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and foster community interaction and follower growth.
Campaign Execution
Support the rollout of planned digital campaigns
Assist in executing seasonal campaigns
Coordinate digital assets for retail promotions and trade activations
Work with agencies or internal teams to deliver campaign assets
Website and Digital Channels
Maintain and update website content across Yumbah’s sites
Ensure content is accurate, up-to-date and aligned to brand messaging
Support SEO optimisation
Assist in improving user experience across consumer and trade sites.
Email and CRM Marketing
Create and deploy EDM and SMS campaigns
Segment audiences for targeted communications
Maintain email databases and ensure compliance with privacy regulations
Analyse campaign performance
Analytics and Reporting
Track and report on key digital metrics
Prepare regular performance reports with actionable insights
Support ROI tracking for campaigns, events and activations
Qualifications and Experience
3 years plus experience in digital marketing or a similar role
Strong content creation and copywriting skills
Experience with social media platforms and scheduling tools
Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp, HubSpot)
Experience with CMS platforms
Experience with design and editing software (Canva, Adobe, Cap Cut, Clipchamp)
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actions
Ability to work cross-functionally
Creative with a strong eye for detail
Proactive and able to manage multiple projects
Collaborative team player
