Role Overview:
Research, write, and refine high-quality content like blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and more focused on cloud cost management, FinOps best practices, budgeting, commitment management, and usage monitoring.
Tailor content for both technical audiences (cloud engineers, architects) and strategic decision-makers (IT directors, VPs, finance stakeholders).
Optimize content with SEO best practices to support brand visibility and lead generation.
Key Responsibilities
Produce in-depth, authoritative blog posts, guides, and collateral on cloud optimization topics.
Collaborate with subject-matter experts to ensure technical accuracy and insight.
Apply CloudOptimo’s brand voice and messaging across all content assets.
Ensure all deliverables meet deadlines and rigorous quality standards.
Coordinate with marketing, product, and engineering teams to align content with product launches and campaigns.
Use analytics to track content performance and suggest improvements.
Stay current with industry trends in cloud, FinOps, and cost control strategies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in technical writing, preferably in cloud computing, APIs, and security.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Proficiency in documentation tools, such as Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Markdown, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a product-based company.
Familiarity with agile software development methodologies.
