We are currently recruiting for a consultant or senior consultant (experience dependent) to join our existing Information Solutions Team. This role will have a particular focus on low-code development & technical support using Microsoft Office 365 applications and Power Platform.

This includes sitting in India and being part of the delivery of future net zero, renewable energy, transport and water infrastructure solutions in the UK and globally. You will take a consultant based role in our established Information Solutions team, working with the latest Microsoft 365 technologies, helping deliver high quality, bespoke solutions to our clients. The role is a blend of development, operations & system administration to assist in expanding the deployment of our templated solutions.
ROLE SPECIFICS
Your Role Will Consist Of The Following
• Working within a small team of digital specialists focused on the deployment & testing of our templated Office 365 Solutions;
• Supporting the continued development of our O365 based Infracatalyst solution;
• Work to develop and maintain our current SharePoint online solutions and in house-built applications and automated flows;
• Support the design, development, and delivery of complex bespoke solutions (part of team or working under own supervision);
• Maintaining & updating our template O365 Solutions;
• Monitoring performance of automated flows and flagging any issues or concerns to lead developers in the team;
• Design & implement automated flows to support in the regular auditing process for deployed solutions; and
• Update and maintaining deployment documentation.

We will shortlist candidates using the following qualification and experience criteria:
Education / Qualifications
• An MSc degree-level qualification (or equivalent) in IT or software development, with at least four years related work experience;
• Any Microsoft certifications related to Power Platform
Technical Skills
• Ability to develop digital solutions using Power Platform: mainly Power Automate & PowerApps – including understanding of connection types and licensing impacts;
• Experience of creating, managing, and maintaining solutions using PowerApps;
• Knowledge of differences between Canvas, Model Driven and Portal Apps;
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 including SharePoint and Team;
• Understanding of Dataverse (Common Data Service) and SQL;
• Ability to understand and analyse and document business problems;
• Experience in VBA macro development using MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Regularly following key developments in Microsoft products and digital platforms - including roadmaps, MVPs etc on online sites and platforms; and
• Demonstrate an ability to problem-solve in a creative manner;
