We are seeking a suitably qualified educator for a full time maternity cover position in our professional, friendly team.
About you
We are looking to appoint a Qualified Educator who is dedicated, confident and has an understanding of respectful practice with children.
This role requires a team player who is insightful and can drive our program with their unique skills and talents. This position will be part of the Centre's leadership team which drives our philosophy, vision and values, as well as coaching and mentoring our team of passionate educators in their journey of continuous improvement.
Essential requirements and responsibilities for this position include:
Diploma in Children's Services or working towards an approved early childhood qualification
The ability to advocate and implement the educational program
The ability to enlist a variety of teaching strategies to enhance all children's abilities
To create and maintain an inclusive, fun, safe, healthy and effective learning environment
Have good communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with children, families and colleagues
Have a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement and working as part of a team.
Be experienced working with children in an early childhood setting
The ability to use initiative and self-reflection to set goals to improve practice.
Understanding of the National Quality Standards and The Early Years Learning Framework
