Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all tax related decisions and activities in the organization. You will help us stay tax-compliant and up-to-date on new tax laws.
Responsibilities
• Corporate tax, transfer pricing, and international tax matters, for domestic and international clients.
• Compliance Management: Ensure accurate and timely preparation and filing of all corporate tax returns. Review tax calculations, provisions, and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Handle submissions, assessments, and appeals before the CIT(A) and Tribunals.
• Stay updated on relevant tax laws and regulations and proactively advise on tax planning strategies for optimizing tax position.
• Relationship Management: Develop and maintain effective working relationships with tax authorities, business teams, functional teams, and external service providers.
• Client Management and Deliverables: Take responsibility for client management ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables. Manage multiple clients while prioritizing tasks and maintaining the highest standards of work.
• Team Management and Development: Monitor the work of the team, providing guidance and support as needed. Foster a positive work environment and conduct training sessions to enhance the team's skills and expertise.
Qualifications
• Qualified CA
• 8 years' of experience of professional tax experience
• Strong communication and analytical skills
