Our client is a a leading global real estate investment manager with diverse assets across property types such as living, office, retail, mixed-use, logistics and life science projects.
This role leads and supports enterprise technology initiatives, partnering with cross-functional teams to improve processes, implement solutions, and enhance operational efficiency.
As Director of Commercial Real Estate Applications you will serve as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders and technology; focused on driving adoption, standardization, and optimization of property technology platforms across a complex global real estate portfolio.
What You’ll Do
• Partner with business teams to understand workflows, identify pain points, and uncover opportunities
• Lead discovery sessions and translate insights into clear requirements and documentation
• Recommend and implement technology solutions to improve efficiency and scalability
• Collaborate on project planning, execution, and risk management
• Support system implementation, including testing and user adoption
• Develop training materials and enable end users to effectively utilize tools
• Assist with product ownership, operational planning, and change management
• Stay current on industry trends and emerging real estate technologies
What You Bring
• 10+ years of experience implementing technology solutions (including testing & training)
• 5+ years in commercial real estate and property technology
• Deep familiarity with property operations workflows including vendor management
• Strong experience with tools like Jira, Microsoft Suite, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Excel/Power Query, and workflow mapping tools
• Experience with property technology + platforms: Prism CMMS, Angus, Yardi, MRI Software, HQO, and VTS
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
• Experience managing projects (Agile preferred)
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (MBA or PMP is a plus)
