Job Description
1. Leadership & Governance
• Lead the end-to-end finance operations of India, including accounting, FP&A, audit, payroll, tax, and compliance .
• Serve as the primary finance leader in India , reporting to the Global CFO and collaborating closely with U.S. finance teams.
• Establish and enforce robust governance frameworks , financial controls, and process standards in line with corporate policies.
• Oversee hiring, performance appraisals, and expense approvals for the India finance team.
2. Financial Operations
• Oversee Accounting and Accounts Payable (AP) processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger integrity.
• Manage Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting support for global stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate and timely statutory and tax compliance with Indian regulations.
• Partner with the Global Controller, CAO, and CFO on financial reporting and audit support.
3. Shared Services & Global Collaboration
• Build and lead the Global Finance Shared Services team in India, supporting :
• Technical accounting and board reporting.
• Global FP&A, AP, and commissions processes.
• Global revenue accounting and analysis.
• Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives across global finance operations.
• Act as a bridge between U.S. and India finance functions, ensuring consistent service delivery and communication.
4. Strategy & Transformation
• Develop a multi-phase growth roadmap for the India GCC—evolving from transactional finance to analytical and strategic functions.
• Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency through technology, analytics, and process automation .
• Support the creation of a Finance Center of Excellence (CoE) for global operations from India.
• Advise executive leadership on long-term financial strategies, operational performance, and risk mitigation.

• Compliance with statutory, audit, and corporate governance requirements.
• Continuous improvement and automation of finance workflows.
Qualifications & Experience
• CA / CPA / MBA in Finance or equivalent qualification.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a multinational or GCC environment.
• Proven expertise in finance operations, FP&A, statutory compliance, and team leadership.
• Deep understanding of India GAAP, U.S. GAAP, and global reporting standards.
• Strong track record in building and scaling shared service centers or finance transformation initiatives.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural communication skills
