The Role
Kyndryl is seeking a Director, HR to support the growth and transformation of the Canadian organization within the Group President’s global model. This role is for a seasoned human resources professional who is a proven, high-caliber leader in the HR field, who understands the key role of HR as a business partner in a global, highly matrixed, and complex organization. The candidate will have successfully supported organizational transformation through developing the case for change and supported senior leadership in driving cultural engagement against a compelling HR strategy. This role is for a leader with a growth mindset who can operate well beyond his/her own functional area, combining strategic and analytical perspectives and possibilities with a pragmatic, commercial and action-oriented approach.
S/he will be a key member of the Country President’s leadership team locally and report directly to the SVP HR for the global Group President organization. S/he will provide end-to-end leadership for all aspects of the people function including talent management, succession planning, learning and development, talent acquisition, compensation, employee engagement and organizational development. This individual will play a critical role in guiding this key geography through organizational change and talent development. S/he will play a vital role in the ongoing growth, development, and transformation of the business, while at the same time shaping a positive culture within the organization. The right candidate has the business acumen to help shape business strategy as a member of the leadership team and will ensure that the HR strategy and interventions support the overall Kyndryl growth ambitions.
The individual in this role will be a collaborator who has demonstrated the ability to attract, develop, coach and mentor exceptionally strong talent (externally and internally). S/he will also be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing and credible local HR team, leveraging the team’s strengths to take the function to the next level and enabling the business to achieve its long-term growth objectives
