We have over 60,000+ writers and graphic designers who have applied to Pepper so far, who form part of the ‘Pepper Cloud’.About the RoleThis position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.Consistently recruiting excellent team members- Helping various teams with their hiring requirements- Working closely with Talent Acquisition team for the hiring process - interviews, reference checks , pre-onboarding etc.Onboarding of Team Members- Coordinating with Talent Acquisition and Admin team for Onboarding .- Conducting onboarding calls and also taking care of all the necessary paperwork for new joiners- Conducting exit interviews and also taking care of the offboarding processManaging Payroll and Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations- Working closely with the compliance partner and being on top all the laws and regulations that are important and applicable to us.- Maintaining in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.- Ensuring all the returns are filled on time.- Maintaining the data for the same.- Working with the finance team for the payroll process in the month end.Team Engagement and L&D- Working closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.- Arranging Team engagement sessions for different teams.- Conduction surveys, feedback sessions in order to understand the pulse of different teams.- Working closely with the team leads to improve the overall motivation level- Also working with arranging certain learning and development programs as per the team’s requirements.Assisting in developing clear policies and ensuring policy awareness.- Drafting new policies and changing the existing policies as per requirement- Conducting necessary research for the same- Ensuring the policies are communicated well with the organization- Creating a Repository where all these polices are available.- Developing contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.Performance Management and Reviews- Working closely with the respective teams for the OKRs management.- Maintaining the repository of the OKRs- Providing day-to-day performance management guidance to team leads (e.g., coaching, counselling career development, disciplinary actions).- During the performance reviews, helping with the process and training the team leads for the same.- Understanding the industry best practices and also doing industry benchmarking- Conducting the entire performance review process and maintaining all the necessary information for the same.Requirements -- MBA in HR or equivalent degree from a reputed university / college.- Candidates should have 6- 10 yrs of experience in HRBP Role.- Experience in Startup.- Has been a part of a scale-up journey- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.- Good knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
