Job Description
Teva India is seeking a Director Human Resources who will be an integral part of the team to drive key HR initiatives in India to support fast-growing site in Bengaluru. As a HR Director, you will serve as a strategic business partner and primary point of contact for people leaders in Global Support Function besides providing Leadership to the HRM in other functions based in the corporate office in Bengaluru. This position close partnership with the business and operations teams as well as our global HR team. In this role, you will focus on the following:
· Designing and operationalizing innovative programs that support a "best place to work environment" and maximize employee engagement.
· Collaborating with leaders to define and deliver the resource plan that will underpin Teva's growth in our Bengaluru Centre.
· Facilitating the annual performance development, talent management and compensation review cycles for multiple service lines.
· Operate as a key business partner and subject matter expert to Global Support Function through business knowledge, HR expertise, relationship management and proactive interventions.
· Provide guidance and coaching on organizational and team design, location decisions, career pathing, performance management and capability building, in line with the Global Support Function people strategy.
· Be a proactive, approachable and highly visible member of the Bengaluru office and be the point person for the Business assigned function, supported by the HR Operations, HR Shared Services and HR Recruitment, COE's.
· Collaborate with senior leadership in the Bengaluru office to create a culture of positivity, innovation and service-orientation for Global Support Function colleagues.
· Stay closely connected with our Recruiting teams to ensure that the Global Support Function resource plan is executed efficiently to equip the organization with first-class talent within the required parameters.
· Ensure that new joiners are successfully on-boarded, are clear on their purpose and feel supported and integrated into the wider Global Support Function organization.
· Provide Leadership to the HRM of other functions based at the corporate office.
· Oversee career development for Enterprise employees, ensuring vibrant and effective development opportunities and compelling growth trajectories.
· Analysis, interpretation and communication of employee engagement survey outcomes and contribution to the creation of related action plans.
· Act as a catalyst for change; guides and influences organizational design, development and change management solutions. Leads the implementation of organizational change from a people perspective, collaborating closely with our Communications lead.
· Uses analytics and trend analysis to help shape HR strategies and processes to support business objectives.
· Collaborates to develop robust talent management plans to attract, retain, develop and engage talent in critical roles and ensure strong succession plans.
· Drive consistent HR processes and policies or enhancements that support the business, complying with legal and corporate requirements
Experience & Qualifications
· A strong track record as a HR professional in a global, fast-paced, intellectually intense and matrix-structured environment and of reporting to a leader located in a different region.
· A proven ability to drive business value (ideally during rapid growth & change) through effective people initiatives.
· Ability to align HR programs to business goals and objectives in a high growth environment
· Strong knowledge of employment practices in India and ability to adapt global programs locally
· Experience managing and developing an HR team
· Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills. Successful in building trust & credibility with senior leaders and influencing in high-stakes scenarios.
· A depth of experience in employee development, management coaching, organizational design, recruiting, compensation, employee relations and HR project management and program implementation.
· A positive, pragmatic and solution-oriented approach, with a high degree of professionalism.
· Structured thinking and the skills to translate ideas into a coherent proposal/presentation/argument.
· Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, coupled with skills & confidence to operate autonomously
· Ability to handle competing priorities with flexibility, whilst maintaining strategic alignment.
· Ability to manage projects in a timely manner whilst keeping stakeholders engaged & informed.
· Excellent coaching and facilitation skills, with experience of leading workshops and presenting at meetings.
· Analytical skills with ability to use data to form hypotheses, draw insights, form narratives, and to prioritize and influence decisions. Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills a must.
· Ability to use experience and judgment to make decisions that may be based on partial information.
· Experience of working with colleagues from different parts of the world, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and an ability to develop relationships in a virtual context.
· MBA HR with + 15 years of HR experience
