7+ years of relevant accounting / financial experience, with in-depth functional expertise
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in accounting & reporting focused roles

Advanced Excel skills
Ability to organize high volume and complexity of activities into streamlined processes

Responsibilities
The Associate Director, Accounting & Reporting role in the Record to Report (R2R) team is responsible for overseeing the accounting and reporting activities for Employee Benefits (EB) processes including Pension, Share Based Compensation, Restructuring, Payroll and other related activities across all Divisions in the US
Specific responsibilities would include being the “Subject Matter Expert” for all EB processes, FSC ERP systems (SAP: PEP) and reporting tools (FCRS, IBI, BPC, etc.). Responsibilities would also include but not be limited to: Month-end closings, financial reporting, balance sheet review / reconciliations
Works collaboratively with Divisional Financial Reporting and Accounting (FRA), Business Planning and Analysis (BPA) and P&O organization
Leadership position in the EB Accounting & Reporting team responsible for cross divisional Employee Benefits accounting issues including: select technical accounting, month-end closings, financial reporting, balance sheet review / reconciliations and liaison with internal and external auditors
Subject Matter Expert for ERP related systems (SAP: PEP); reporting tools (FCRS, IBI, BPC, etc.); Pension, Short Term Incentive and Long Term Incentive, Payroll accounting processes, Restructuring and Employee Benefits
Lead month end and quarterly closing reporting process ensuring high quality financial statement footnote disclosures, highly accurate management reporting results and refines process for efficiency
Prepare or review Balance Sheet Review Packages for select entities
Interact proactively with functional areas in the P&O organization, Divisional Financial Reporting and Accounting (FRA), Business Planning and Analysis (BPA) and Group Finance to ensure appropriate accounting and financial reporting is accomplished
Complete and review account analysis and account reconciliations
Ensure all processes and technical accounting summaries comply with Company standard policies and International Accounting Standards (IAS) (i.e. global processes, Company Accounting Manual, Company Financial Controls Manual, Management Authorization Levels, etc.)
Provide leadership and coaching to the team managers
Participation and provide leadership in E2E process, controls mapping and execution of testing requirements for Employee Benefits, Payroll related systems or applications implementations
Ability and experience in implementing process improvements
Collaborate with third parties like actuaries and employee benefits service providers
