Director of Admissions | Skilled Nursing Facility

Description:Generations Healthcare Network has a new opportunity for an Admissions Director with at least 1-2 years of experience managing Admissions in a skilled nursing facility. We are seeking a Director of Admissions who will utilize their knowledge and experience to provide census growth working collaboratively with the facility's Hospital Liaison, Administrator, Director of Nursing, physicians, hospital discharge staff, managed care organizations, social workers and the community at large.You'll need:Exceptional communication, writing and oral presentation skillsExperience and knowledge of the needs of long-term care facilitiesAbility to identify barriers and develop recommendations for possible solutionsEffectively address concerns and issues with team members in leadership rolesProfessional presentation skills and to be a good listenerA compassionate heart for those needing skilled nursing care and their familiesHave a 'self-starter,' confident personalityProven ability to work in sometimes stressful situations and exercise good judgementThis is a salaried position with full-time benefits. The salary range is between $60,000-$65,000 depending on experience and qualifications. It is a 40 hour a week job on average, but you'll need to be available by cell phone if the facility needs your advice. The position reports into the Administrator at the facility.Please note, there is no relocation assistance provided for this position.
