Roles And Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting Oversight
• Lead the preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) aligned with statutory and corporate requirements
• Ensure accurate provisioning and reporting of taxes in financial statements
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for all departments
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and month-end/year-end closing processes
Taxation & Compliance
• Manage end-to-end Direct and Indirect Tax functions (Income Tax, GST, TDS)
• Ensure timely filing of returns and compliance with Indian tax regulations
• Handle tax audits, assessments, and interactions with tax authorities
• Provide strategic tax planning to optimize tax liability and ensure regulatory compliance
• Oversee transfer pricing, international taxation, and cross-border financial transactions
Regulatory & Statutory Reporting
• Ensure full compliance with all statutory and financial regulations, including ROC, GST, TDS, and Income Tax
• Lead internal and external audits, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting
• Manage tax litigation, assessments, and representation before authorities
Team & Process Management
• Lead and mentor a high-performing finance and accounts team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, HR, Legal) for finance-related matters
• Implement automation tools and continuously improve finance and compliance processes
Role Requirements
Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
Experience:
• Minimum 6–8 years of experience in finance & accounts, with at least 4 years in a managerial role
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors is essential
• Exposure to multi-location operations or international finance preferred
Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of Indian tax laws (Income Tax, GST, TDS) and regulatory frameworks
• Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Tally) and Microsoft Excel
• Experience managing tax audits, assessments, and dispute resolutions
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
• Ethical, compliance-focused, and proactive in identifying and solving financial risks
Working days: Monday - Saturday
