Human Resource Director

Urban Engineers is seeking qualified individuals in the Philadelphia area to join the Human Resource Department as our HR Director. This position will be responsible for overall Human Resource functions, providing technical expertise and strategy development.

Responsibilities
• Functions as a partner to support Operations Leaders and participates in the formulation and implementation of Human Resources strategies and programs.
• Plans, organizes, directs and administers activities of the Human Resources Department.
• Administers all aspects of human resources functions including benefits administration, compensation administration, legal compliance, orientation, training, employment, employee relations, and policy and procedure development and implementation.
• Identifies, develops, implements and evaluates recruiting programs to meet the staffing needs of our Operations groups.
• Oversees the preparation of EEO, Affirmative Action, Vet Status and all other Federal and State required reports.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or Management.
• Experience working in a consulting or service organization.
• M.B.A. or Master’s degree, preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in an HR leadership role.
• PHR; SPHR; SHRM-CP; SHRM-SCP preferred.
• Proficient with HRIS Systems.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of federal reporting requirements.
