As a senior leader within a life sciences consulting practice, you will serve as a trusted advisor to executive clients, shaping commercial strategies and driving growth-oriented engagements. You will balance business development, delivery excellence, and people leadership while contributing to the long-term strength of the firm.
Key Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Growth
• Build, expand, and sustain senior-level client relationships, acting as a primary strategic advisor
• Drive revenue growth through account expansion, new buyer engagement, and solution-based selling
• Shape and execute client-specific growth strategies aligned to industry trends and organizational priorities
• Manage client expectations, identify engagement risks, and ensure consistent delivery of value
Engagement & Portfolio Oversight
• Oversee multiple consulting engagements of varying scope and duration, ensuring quality, profitability, and timely execution
• Maintain accountability for project scope, timelines, staffing, and financial performance
• Provide oversight and guidance across workstreams while ensuring client-ready deliverables
Strategic Advisory & Subject Matter Expertise
• Advise life sciences leadership teams on commercialization and launch readiness, including brand strategy, forecasting, segmentation, and go-to-market design
• Support strategic decision-making across patient journeys, commercial models, sales force design, and marketing investment planning
• Translate complex clinical, analytical, and market data into clear, actionable business recommendations
People & Firm Leadership
• Mentor, coach, and develop consultants and engagement leaders, supporting both performance and career progression
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture
• Contribute to internal initiatives such as capability development, recruiting, thought leadership, and operational improvement
Qualifications
Required
• Bachelor’s degree in science, healthcare, engineering, business, or a related discipline
• 10+ years of combined consulting and/or industry experience within pharmaceuticals, biotech, specialty pharma, or medical technology
• At least 8 years of experience supporting commercialization and product launch strategy in a consulting environment
• Demonstrated success advising senior commercial, brand, and analytics leaders within life sciences organizations
• Strong analytical capability with hands-on experience using data to inform strategic decisions
• Proven ability to manage complex project portfolios across multiple teams and timelines
• Track record of growing client accounts and generating revenue through long-term relationship building
• Experience leading teams, supervising workstreams, and developing junior talent
• Willingness to travel extensively within the U.S. (up to 50%)
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship
Preferred
• MBA or other advanced degree
• Deep passion for healthcare and life sciences innovation
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations
• Ability to understand and communicate the clinical and commercial implications of complex products
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables
• Highly collaborative leadership style
Compensation
• Estimated Salary Range: $206,000 – $343,000 annually (U.S.-based)
• Compensation is determined based on experience, skills, and organizational needs and may include eligibility for performance-based incentives
