Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to serve as the Director of Manufacturing & Co-Packing Operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee end-to-end manufacturing processes and co-packing partnerships, driving operational excellence, fostering innovation, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products. Your leadership will shape the strategic direction of manufacturing initiatives, optimize production efficiencies, and cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders to support business growth. Duties
Develop and implement comprehensive manufacturing and co-packing strategies aligned with overall business objectives to maximize efficiency and quality.
Lead, motivate, and develop senior manufacturing teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to safety standards, regulatory compliance, and quality control measures.
Manage vendor negotiations and partnerships with co-packers to secure favorable terms, ensure supply chain reliability, and maintain high standards.
Drive process improvement initiatives by analyzing workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance productivity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, supply chain, quality assurance, and sales to support new product launches and scale-up activities.
Lead strategic planning efforts for capacity expansion, technology upgrades, and sustainability initiatives to future-proof manufacturing capabilities.
Requirements
Proven management experience leading large-scale manufacturing operations or co-packing facilities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong strategic planning skills with a track record of executing complex projects from conception through completion.
Demonstrated ability to lead senior leadership teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent negotiation skills for managing vendor relationships and securing advantageous agreements.
Experience in business development activities related to manufacturing partnerships or new market entry.
Expertise in project management methodologies with a focus on process optimization and operational efficiency.
Deep understanding of operations management principles including safety protocols, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
