Primary Job Responsibilities:
· Programmatic oversight, review, coordination and management of operations of the Waiver Services program, to include Home and Community Based Services, Assisted Living Facilities, Daily Respite, and Youth and Adult Groups.
· Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal guidelines, rules and regulations.
· Directly supervise all Waiver Services programs to include Assisted Living Facilities, Waiver Services Manager, and Direct Support Professionals.
· Ensures the health and safety of participating individuals and the provision of high-quality services.
· Supervise, develop/train, coach, mentor, evaluate and retain all employees related to Waiver Services in collaboration with the Executive Director and Waiver Services Manager.
· Coordination and submission of required documentation and reports, to include Service Coordination, GIRS, CIRs, Support Plans and others.
· Staffing, scheduling and tracking Support Plans.
· Collaborates with HR in hiring qualified personnel; schedules and conducts interviews and recommends applicants for hire.
· Collaborate with HR to conduct new staff orientation training and annual mandatory training.
· Time and attendance and mileage tracking for Waiver Services Managers and DSPs.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
While performing duties of this job, the Director may be required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talking and hearing are required for this position. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. They are required to walk, stoop, bend and sit. They may be required to sit for extended periods. They may be required to lift and/or move items weighing up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, color vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus. The employee must regularly interact with co-workers and the public.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in social service, vocational rehabilitation or similar field is preferred.
· Three (3) years’ experience in direct service, case management or other associated positions in the Developmental Disability field is required.
· Experience in a supervisory/ leadership role with multiple personnel is required.
· Possess and maintain a valid Alaska driver’s license and insured vehicle that meets minimum State of Alaska insurance requirements.
· Able to pass and provide a Background Check that meets the State of Alaska requirements.

Pay: Up to $75,000.00 per year
