We are seeking a Director of People & Assurance to join our Strategy, Transformation and Assurance Group in the Environment Agency.
You will be decisive, confident and committed to inclusively leading the development and execution of our people strategy. You will influence and challenge at the most senior level, adopting creative problem solving to deliver innovative, pragmatic solutions to business challenges.
Leading a high performing team, you will deliver people solutions into the organisation, challenge performance and ensuring the business have confidence in the people offer, whilst recognising the function as professionals in their field.
Specifically, you will be experienced in:
Professional Leadership and Influence
HR skills
Cultural leadership
Health and Safety accountability
Assurance management
Trade Union relationship management
Responding to incidents is central to what we do. You'll be required to have an incident role and make yourself available to respond to incidents or provide business continuity support during an incident. Full training is available
