About the role
Join Whanau Support Services as a subcontractor. You'll help people with disabilities and mental health challenges live independently and reach their goals. We value integrity, Hope, Faith and Charity.
What you'll be doing
Assisting clients with daily tasks such as personal care, cooking, and household tasks
Engaging with clients in social activities to promote their wellbeing and community inclusion
Advocating for clients' rights and ensuring their needs are met in a respectful and empowering manner
Collaborating with the wider care team to develop and implement personalised support plans
Maintaining detailed records and documentation
Follow all relevant policies, procedures, and legislative requirements
What we're looking for
Two male Support Workers (experience is great, but not required)
Individuals who have integrity, and a passion to serve others
Studying or finished Certificate 3 in individual support/ Aged care
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
Can work different shifts, including some weekends
Have an ABN, First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willing to get them)
Have a driver's licence, reliable car, and car insurance
Willing to learn and work hard

Pay: $37.10 – $47.70 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
