Our Opportunity
As a Disability Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to join our team on a contractual basis, working as a sole trader.
This means you will have more control over your role, including:
Higher hourly rates
Flexibility in choosing hours and days to work
Autonomy to undertake specific services, such as domestic care or community access
Additionally, we provide:
Professional indemnity and public liability insurance
An on-call customer service team available 24/7 for support and guidance
Job Details
We regularly receive new roles with varied shifts, including afternoons, evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Roles may require transporting participants to access the community, which includes allowances for vehicle usage and time.
Required Skills and Responsibilities
To succeed in this role, you must have experience working with younger children and possess the following skills:
Providing personal care, including bed baths, showers, and assisting with dressing
Assisting with continence care and seizure activity monitoring
Supporting PEG feeding and oral suctioning
Becoming a DSW with Us
To become a Disability Support Worker with us, you will need to meet certain requirements:
Hold an ABN
Provide proof of Right to Work, Australian Citizenship or Grant Visa
Possess relevant Australian qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Individual Support
Hold a current Police Clearance and First Aid/CPR Certificate
