Job Description
This role involves assisting participants with daily living activities, supporting community access, and promoting independence, wellbeing, and social inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
Assist participants with activities of daily living, including personal care, hygiene, dressing, grooming and meal preparation
Support participants with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry and general home organisation
Facilitate community participation, including social outings, appointments, shopping and recreational activities
Assist with mobility and transfers where required
Support participants to develop life skills and independence
Implement and follow individual support plans and therapy recommendations
Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation
Communicate effectively with families, coordinators and allied health professionals
Promote a safe, respectful and empowering environment for participants
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 40 per week
Work Location: In person
