I am a 58-year-old male living in my own home in Oxenford. My interests are developing my extensive CD collection by Op Shopping, Word Searches, Hookey and board games. I belong to Club Helensvale. I am a creature of habit. I love my regular daily and weekly routines. This means that I do struggle adapting to situations where my usual routine is suddenly changed or impacted by things outside of my control. I enjoy spending time with my mother and visit her fortnightly at her Aged Care Facility. I need a lifestyle assistant who has an interest in helping me to follow my schedule and feel comfortable and supported. I also need a lifestyle assistant who is interested in helping me have a well looked after home environment and helps me establish meaningful relationships within my community.
You will be joining my support team and covering the following shifts:
Thursday 8am – 1pm
Friday 8am – 1pm
Fortnightly Sunday 8am – 1pm
Plus additional shifts when support staff are on leave
You will have:
A passion for inclusion and be a great social connector
Have energy and enthusiasm, with a flexible, positive and loyal approach
Have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
There will be a meet and greet to decide if you will be a good match.
Pay Rates:
Monday to Friday 6am to 8pm shift - $38.00 per hour
Monday to Friday 8pm - 6am shift - $41.80 per hour
Saturday - $53.20 per hour
Sunday - $68.40 per hour
Public Holidays - $83.70 per hour
Sleepover allowance $120.00 per shift
Applicant Requirements or willing to obtain:
First Aid and CPR Certificate
Criminal History checks
Working with Children card (Blue card)
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’ (or willing to obtain)
