Join Our Team – Disability Support Workers Wanted | NHC Disability Services

With over 5 years of experience supporting NDIS participants across NSW, we are now proudly expanding our services in Sydney — and we’re looking for compassionate, reliable, and motivated Disability Support Workers to join our growing team.
About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will be supporting participants with a range of disabilities including autism, physical, intellectual, and psychosocial disabilities. Your role will focus on helping individuals achieve their goals, participate in the community, and live as independently as possible.
Duties include:
Providing personal care and daily living support
Supporting with community access and social inclusion
Implementing behaviour support plans and documentation
Assisting with domestic tasks such as meal prep and cleaning
Providing transport to appointments and activities
Building positive, trusting relationships with participants and families
What We’re Looking For:
Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent (or working toward)
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
Current Working With Children Check
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
Reliable vehicle, valid Driver’s Licence, and comprehensive car insurance
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Passion for empowering people with disabilities
Highly regarded:
Experience supporting participants with autism or complex needs
Cultural awareness, particularly in working with Aboriginal communities
Lived experience or bilingual skills
