Secured Plan is seeking fun, enthusiastic and hard-working support workers for our clients in Preston, Craigieburn, Williamstoem , and St Albans in VIC.
Our clients, living at home with different complex diagnoses including Cerebral Palsy, ASD , psychosocial disbility require additional support workers to join their team on a casual basis. Our ideal candidate would receive client-specific training with stable consistent hours.
Duties:
Full assistance with personal care and manual handling, hoist transfer.
Assisting and supporting our clients in their home
Supporting the client in achieving their set goals for the day
Providing true and authentic companionship to the client
Accompanying the client for Shopping, meeting appointments, travel to community places.
Household duties, general cleaning assistance and meal preparation.
The right candidate will need to meet the following criteria:
Experience with providing personal care to clients with high needs - this includes bowel care and assistance with showering.
Manual handling experience (using hoist machines)
Must possess an approachable and calm demeanour, clear communication.
MUST be pet friendly, someone who loves Dogs and Cats will get preference.
Be proactive and take initiative.
Be a reliable team player.
Drives Licence with a clean record.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $34.00 – $63.00 per hour
