Connect Advantage is a trusted NDIS provider of disability services, delivering compassionate and person-centred support to individuals living with mental health disabilities under the NDIS. About the Role
We are currently seeking compassionate and committed Support Workers to join our expanding team. In this role, you will support individuals with mental health related disabilities to achieve their personal goals and maintain independence in their daily lives. We offer flexible working arrangements to suit your availability.
Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care and assistance with daily living tasks, including cleaning, dressing, and meal preparation
Support participants to work towards individual goals and improve overall quality of life
Assist with community access, social engagement, and recreational activities
Offer emotional support, encouragement, and companionship
Implement individual care plans aligned with NDIS goals
Maintain a safe, respectful, and positive environment
Complete accurate documentation and reporting in a timely manner
Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and NDIS coordinators to deliver holistic support
Skills and Qualifications
Demonstrated experience supporting individuals with Schizophrenia or Schizoaffective Disorder
Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent), or relevant industry experience
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
Working With Children Check
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Compassionate, patient, and person-focused approach
Previous experience in community mental health or disability support (preferred)
Valid driver’s licence and ability to transport participants

Minimum 2 years’ experience in mental health support (required)
