About us:
Optimum Disability & Support Services provides a range of disability support services for NDIS participants across all areas of Sydney including the Northern Beaches, Western Sydney, and Hills District.
With the range of services we provide, we aim to make a difference in the lives of those who live with disability and are on the NDIS. The goal is to make each of our participant’s lives easier, fairer, and more involved by supporting their participation within their own communities and supporting their independence with in-home care, and helping them achieve their goals in a safe and non-discriminative environment.

About you:
Must have experience in Intellectual Disability, Mental Health, Autism, Physical Disabilities.
A compassionate and proactive approach with strong interpersonal skills for establishing relationships and dealing with people with physical disabilities and mental health.
The ability to work with different levels of age groups and disabilities including children with Autism, teenagers with mental health issues and adults with mental and physical disabilities.
Must have access to a reliable car and a valid Drivers’ License and comprehensive car insurance.
Have a current Police Check, Working with Children Check, CPR and First Aid.
About the role:
Assistance with Travel and Transport- Providing travel and transport for people to access essential services. This may include school and work drop offs and pick-ups and after school care, taking to appointments, shopping etc
Assistance with Household Tasks- Assisting with domestic duties in the home, such as cooking, cleaning, washing and general garden maintenance.
Development of Daily Living and Life Skills- Developmental-focused activities and training to enhance the person’s ability to live as independent an everyday life as possible.
Participation in the Community- Support in shopping, sporting and recreational events and new hobbies, social activities, visiting or making new friends, travel and transport and building confidence and social skills.
Supporting participant goals as listed on their NDIS plans and working with allied health professional and their strategies to support the participants goals.
