Disability Support Worker/AIN
Fairlight NSW
Casual position - Flexible roster
Shifts available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
Monday: 0830-1130
Tuesday: 1400-2100
Thursday: 1400-1700
Friday: 0830-1130
Our Mission
TriCare Health Services is a vibrant and expanding business who are devoted to supporting people in our community, to live meaningful lives, with the help of our valued and trusted Support Workers. We are seeking several staff to fulfil weekly available shifts in Fairlight NSW
Shifts that requiring filling are as listed below:
Monday: 0830-1130
Tuesday: 1400-2100
Thursday: 1400-1700
Friday: 0830-1130
The hourly rate ranges from $38.80 - $74.8/hr, depending of the shift time
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience working in disability care
- Ability to utilise mobility aids for showering/toileting
- Driver’s Licence with own reliable transport
- Current CPR and/or First AID certificate
Desired Criteria
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Police Check
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance of everyday living and support to clients living with disabilities
- Assist with personal care (toileting/showering), domestic household duties, meal preparations, and medication administration
- Knowledge and experience with manual handling and the use of mobility equipment. This includes commode chairs, wheelchairs, and manual handling techniques
- Basic administrative tasks for shift documentation
- Report to management in case of any incidents or issues

- Previous experience in disability/aged care/hospital work and able to perform the above mentioned tasks
- An enthusiastic outlook and open and friendly personality
- A compassionate and empathetic demeanour
- Excellent communication skills, strong relationship-building skills and good time management
- Be flexible with shift availabilities and be available for a variety of shifts
