Responsibilities
Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently throughout your shift
Ensure all food service areas are kept clean and free of debris by regularly cleaning workstations and floors
Assist with food preparation tasks such as basic chopping or ingredient handling when needed
Support the catering and banquet teams by providing timely dishwashing services during events
Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health and safety standards in the kitchen
Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy service times
Requirements
Prior experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key
Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and food safety standards
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary operations
Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, sinks, and sanitizing tools is a plus
Willingness to handle food safely and responsibly in accordance with health regulations
Previous experience in food handling or culinary environments is advantageous but not mandatory
