Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen staff by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring efficient kitchen operations. Responsibilities
Assist cooks and chefs in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
Clean work areas regularly to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by providing additional help as required.
Follow all instructions from kitchen supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods is a plus.
Knowledge of food handling safety standards is beneficial for this role.
A strong willingness to learn and grow within the hospitality industry is essential.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
