Dispatcher | Permanent | Auckland
$33.08 per hour
Monday to Friday: 10am - 6.30pm
Location: 122 Kerwyn Ave, Highbrook, Auckland

We now have an opportunity available within our Express Dispatch team for an individual with initiative and previous dispatch experience in a customer service role. You will dispatch all work booked by customer to contracted driver and/or fleet and ensuring high a level of service.
In this dynamic job you will:
Utilise your effective communication and leadership in building efficient dispatch runs
Allocate work in logical order taking into consideration the chronological order of the work in a geographical method to ensure "on time performance" is met to company standards
Use your people skills to participate positively and ensure a cohesive and team spirit is upheld
Identify trends and issues to the team
Contribute to projects to improve processes
This role is in an exciting and fast paced industry and provides the opportunity for you to work within a dedicated team who contributes to making a great place to work. You will also need to have a real passion for customer service, understand the importance of delivering on promises and show commitment & dedication to both our customers and fleet.
Shift available:
Monday to Friday: 10am - 6.30pm
To be successful in this role you will need
Previous experience in dispatch and in a telephone based customer service role is essential
Excellent communication skills via phone and email
Knowledge in point-to-point services (ideal)
The ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
Excellent geographic knowledge of New Zealand
Computer experience, and strong keyboard/data entry + Microsoft Office skills are essential
An outgoing friendly attitude and great sense of humour!
