Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Donut Maker to join our dynamic team. As a Donut Maker, you will play a crucial role in creating delicious and high-quality donuts that delight our customers. This position requires a strong understanding of food preparation and safety standards, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Requires early morning starts (5am). Tuesday through Saturday. Off Sunday and Monday
Duties
Prepare and mix ingredients according to established recipes for various types of donuts.
Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, fryers, and ovens to cook and bake donuts to perfection.
Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Package finished products attractively for display and sale, ensuring freshness and quality.
Collaborate with team members to maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and assisting them with their orders when necessary.
Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
Requirements
Previous experience in food preparation or the food industry is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes accurately.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings or weekends as needed.
A passion for baking and creating delicious treats is highly desirable.
