Job Role: Senior C# Engineer (Insurance Domain)
Location: Canada – Remote
Type: Contract
Duration: 6+ Months
Start Date: Immediate / Max 1 Week Notice
Key Responsibilities
Build and enhance .NET Core Web APIs for a flood insurance product
Integrate with multiple insurance systems including:
Actuarial / Rating APIs
Catastrophe Risk Modeling systems
Flood Risk Analytics platforms
Handle complex insurance data flows such as:
Risk pricing
Exposure analysis
Parametric triggers
Work on catastrophe footprints, vulnerability functions, and financial loss estimation
Ensure API security, performance, and scalability in an Agile environment
Required Skills
10+ years of experience in C# / .NET Core development
Strong experience with:
ASP.NET Web API
Entity Framework
SQL
RESTful services
Expertise in:
JSON/XML data transformation
OAuth/JWT authentication
CI/CD pipelines
Strong system integration and API development experience
Important Note
Insurance domain experience (P&C preferred) is mandatory
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $55.10-$64.95 per hour
