Driver – Truck Tyre Service – Derrimut
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and highly skilled driver, that enjoys interactions with customers, to join our close-knit team and assist in growing our business. In a growth phase, we are adding to our team to ensure it meets all delivery needs for our customers and having a passionate, energised team member to meet these requirements is fundamental. This is a fulltime position Monday-Friday, with some overtime required.
Our tasks include, but not limited to:
Being available to drive metro, regional and interstate on a scheduled basis
Develop a strong working relationship with customers, providing a friendly and professional attitude
Completion of paperwork on time and in full
Understanding of load restraint as per National Load Restraint Guidelines
Be prepared to assist in the loading and unloading of tyres
Driving in a time sensitive environment
Refueling and maintaining cleanliness of allocated equipment
Promptly report any mechanical faults, delivery issues or delays
A current, valid driver’s and forklift license
Heavy rigid license required, with a minimum 12 month good driving record
Keep up to date with mandatory training
Previous experience in a similar role
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to work as part of a team that supports each other and is committed to delivering a high
