DSLR is a house of fashion brands empowering individuals to express themselves through lifestyle brands. With $+M in funding from Accel, Matrix, and marquee angel investors, we’re on a path of rapid expansion. Our first brand, Aramya , has achieved 10X growth in recent months, driven by in-house manufacturing and deep customer insights. We’re excited to accelerate this growth further and launch new brands. We’re looking for a passionate brand marketeer to drive brand building & organic reach. Our Team About the Opportunity: This role is pivotal in designing the garments for the Aramya brand. Expectations: Generate innovative design concepts that resonate with our customers, drawing inspiration from market trends, cultural influences, and customer feedback. Create detailed technical packs to bring design concepts to life, iterating and refining based on customer feedback. Research & analyse the market to monitor current fashion trends, collections, customer preferences and competitors to strengthen brand image and maintain competitive positioning against key brand-consumer targets. Maintain and build design team workflows that ensure that all designs in the portfolio are delivered are in line with style guides, DSLR’s design language and DSLR quality standards. Perform daily organizational and maintenance tasks like Styling the range, Embroidery development and getting the sample made as directed. Maintain and track departmental fashion calendar for the seasons. ♂️ Ideal Candidate: Bachelor's degree in Fashion design from NIFT/NID/PEARL. 3+ years of fashion designer experience in Women’s ethnic wear. Openness to work from the Jaipur office. Knowledge of Fabrics. Demonstrated experience in high-level aesthetics and creative ability. Ability to create technical packages of garments. Ability to use softwares for designing such as illustrator, corel draw, photoshop. Problem solving approach. Hunger for learning and growth, and therefore, wants to join an early-stage startup.
