Job Description
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Staying updated on current menu changes. Stay focused and direct as necessary.
Responsible for prepping produce, chopping fruits, cleaning machines, and maintaining day to day responsibilities.
Cleaning washrooms
Following proper safety protocols
Ensure that your station is fully equipped stocked and ready to go.
Responsible to preparing items from the menu.
Washing dishes as required
Ensure Customers food is delivered at the right temperature.
Thoroughly cleaning the kitchen, wiping counters, fridges, waffle irons, crepe grills, under the oven and disposing garbage.
Unload delivery trucks and store inventory correctly.
Filling in for absent staff as needed.
Ensure Uniforms are presentable and clean
Responsible for dish washing during slower periods.
Providing the best possible customer experience.
Experience
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Familiarity with food preparation, cashiering, and food safety practices is a plus
Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations are necessary
Previous experience is an asset
Food Handlers Certificate is an asset
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
Must be a team player
Positive interpersonal skills
Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs
Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time
Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance is key.
Must be honest and work with a great deal of integrity
Must be able to communicate with managers, staff and customers
Strong leadership skills is an asset in the kitchen
