Four Square Onehunga is your fresh grocer. Our store offers barista made coffee, a great food-to-go selection, all the everyday essentials and fresh faves that our customers could want, all while providing the local service that Four Square is famous for. We are seeking a Duty Manager to join our team. You’ll be working alongside a passionate, engaged team of customer service super stars to help deliver a shopping experience that is second to none.

The Role

Provide a high level of customer service and ensure a consistently fresh, full, and friendly shopping experience for our guests.
You’ll help in several areas: duty management, merchandising, ranging, checkouts and more.
Lead by example within a small team to ensure the store is always presented to the highest possible standard.
Look at the big picture, the Duty Manager must overlook the entire store and all departments, ensuring the store as a whole is running to the best of its ability.

What are we looking for:

Hospitality, grocery, and/or fresh experience is advantageous.
Hold a current Liquor Manager's Certificate (or be interested to train toward one, have previously held one or be able to obtain one, be over 20 years old)
Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service in a retail or similar industry.
Bring energy and enthusiasm and be excited about opening and closing the Store and everything that comes in between.
Have a strong work ethic, be solutions focused and stay calm under pressure.
Have excellent communication skills, be reliable, honest and an engaged team player.
Be fit and physically capable.
Be willing to work shifts across the day, including weekends and evenings.
