We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to support the development and well-being of children in our care. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and grow. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, including those with disabilities, and possess a strong background in early childhood education and caregiving. Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor children's activities to ensure safety and engagement
Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and recreational activities
Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages social interaction and learning
Assist children with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, and nap times
Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities as necessary
Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding child's progress and needs
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare area to promote safety and hygiene
Observe children's behavior for developmental milestones or concerns and report findings accordingly
Requirements
Prior classroom experience working with children preferred
Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and caregiving best practices
Strong ability to engage children through teaching, play, and nurturing interactions
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families and team members
Patience, compassion, and a genuine passion for working with children
Ability to create a safe, supportive environment that promotes learning and growth
Relevant certifications such as CPR or first aid are advantageous but not mandatory
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
