About the Role
As Director, you will lead the day-to-day operations of a high-quality early learning service, ensuring excellence in education, care and compliance. You’ll inspire your team to deliver engaging, play-based programs grounded in contemporary research and the Early Years Learning Framework.
You will play a key role in building a welcoming, inclusive environment where every child and family feels a strong sense of belonging.
What You’ll Do
Lead and mentor a team of educators, fostering a positive, collaborative and high-performing culture
Deliver and oversee a high-quality, play-based educational program aligned with the EYLF and National Quality Standards
Build strong, respectful partnerships with families and the community
Ensure the safety, wellbeing and rights of all children are upheld at all times
Drive continuous improvement through critical reflection and quality practices
Manage centre operations including staffing, compliance, budgets and occupancy
Champion a warm, inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and supports every child’s development
What We’re Looking For
You are a confident and compassionate leader who leads by example and brings out the best in others.
You will have:
A Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)
Current First Aid, Child Protection training and Working With Children Check
NESA Early Childhood Teacher accreditation
Demonstrated leadership experience in early childhood settings
Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, EYLF and relevant legislation
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
A genuine commitment to child safety, inclusion and family engagement

Package: $107,476 - $119,782 gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation.
Hours of work: Permanent Full Time. You will have the option of a 19 day month through Council’s flex system.
