Job Description
- A part time position working in a 4 year-old kindergarten group commencing in Term 2 2026. - Session times are Wednesday and Friday 8.30am to 4pm. Planning time with the team is on Thursday and is currently above the award minimum. - Committed to creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that aligns with the service philosophy and values, and the National Quality Framework - Work collaboratively with the team members to foster children’s development through purposeful, intentional teaching practices - Committed to continuous learning, critical reflection and ongoing quality improvement - Help to build high quality programs that foster the development of curiosity and a love of learning - Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build warm, positive relationships with children, families and team members - Bring patience, flexibility and passion for making a meaningful contribution - Have a sound knowledge of the Child Safe Standards
* Certificate 3 in Children's Services (or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care) * Mandatory Reporting certificate * Current first aid training HLTAID012 - Provide an emergency first aid response in education and care setting
