Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement daily activities tailored to children's developmental stages
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment
Support social, emotional, and cognitive growth
Supervise indoor and outdoor play
Maintain clear documentation of children’s learning and behavior
Communicate effectively with parents and staff
Ensure all licensing requirements and safety protocols are followed
Assist with daily routines, including meals, hygiene, and rest times
Requirements:
Valid ECE License to Practice (BC)
Minimum 2 years of experience working with young children
First Aid & CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Passion for early learning and child development
Nice to Have:
Experience working with children with developmental disorders (e.g., autism)
Familiarity with Montessori-inspired or Reggio Emilia approaches
Bilingual in English and Chinese (asset, not required)
Compensation & Schedule:
$24/hour + $6/hour Wage Enhancement (Total: $30/hour)
Monday to Friday, +:00 AM – 5:00 PM
37.5 hours per week
